Partner AlgaeVALOR

The overall objective of AlgaeVALOR is the valorisation of seaweed, otherwise known as macroalgae, for non-food applications. By jointly developing new processing solutions - from seaweed farmer to processors - up to 100 tons (dry weight) of seaweed residues can be valorised annually (per implemented system). This improves resource efficiency of seaweed; by creating a stable input stream for creating dyes and ‘SeaWood’, while also creating additional value for the seaweed farmer.
